The Brightside Story
Brightside Events is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded to organize special events and donate the proceeds to deserving charities. In July of 2010 the Charter Board of Directors was established. Our organization is 100% volunteer-run and all net proceeds from events are fully distributed to charities and individuals in need.
Our past events include Blackjack on the Lake, Baldwin Park Art & Jazz Festival, Doggie Derby, Derby Jubilee & Auction, and Spirit Stroll. We have raised funds for many different causes over the years including Toys for Tots, Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, SPCA, Fleet Peeples Park, Canine Companions for Independence, the Sebastian Haul Fund, and our own Stock the Pantry Program.
