Brightside Events is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded to organize special events. One-hundred percent of event proceeds benefit Brightside Events’ Stock the Pantry Program. The Stock the Pantry Program provides non-perishable food to needy students over extended school breaks. The program was initiated after learning that over one-hundred students that attend schools surrounding the community of Baldwin Park are homeless. These students rely heavily on meals provided during school hours. Our program provides non-perishable food over Summer, Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring breaks so they don’t have to go without. Our past events include Blackjack on the Lake, Baldwin Park Art & Jazz Festival, Doggie Derby, Derby Jubilee & Auction, and Spirit Stroll. We have raised funds for many different causes over the years including Toys for Tots, Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, SPCA, Fleet Peeples Park, Canine Companions for Independence, the Sebastian Haul Fund, and our own Stock the Pantry Program.
